The Cognassist assessment is not currently suitable for learners who are blind or visually impaired and we do not recommend it is used with them. This is due to recommendations from the Royal Institute of Blind People who strongly recommend cognitive assessments are not used with those who are blind or partially sighted, unless the assessment is one that is specifically designed for that group. The Cognassist assessment unfortunately is not designed for this group and is likely to give misleading results (especially on any domain that has a visual component – there are three of them).
