A how to guide to reasonable adjustments and how we can help you with this.
Reasonable adjustments relate to the adjustments that help to reduce the effect of a disability or a physical or mental health condition, which may place the apprentice / learner at a disadvantage compared to others.
Employers, training providers and EPAOs (End-Point Assessment Organisations) must make reasonable adjustments to ensure apprentices / learners with disabilities or physical or mental health conditions aren’t substantially disadvantaged during their training, assessment or at their workplace. This is a required duty as part of the Equality Act 2010.
